Treo 700p + LudusP
All Fun. No Fuss.

The First Treo 700p Utility

The Treo 700p is an amazing device, but it has a few fatal hardware flaws that can severely reduce your ability to use the device to its full potential. LudusP fixes these flaws and allows you total customization of your Treo's hard keys. Easy to use and refreshingly effective, LudusP is a sure way to get the most out of your new phone!

ANNOUNCEMENT: LudusP v1.9 has been released! It adds new features, including support for remapping the Red Power/End button and assigning a button to open a website. A star next to a feature in the list below indicates a new addition in v1.9.

Features

LudusP allows you to change the functions of the device's hard keys, eliminating redundancy and greatly improving efficiency.
  • All-in-1 Phone Button: Why did Palm put two of the same button on the Treo 700p? The Green Send button and the Blue Phone Key do the SAME THING. Why use both when you could just use one and remap the other to whatever you want? Check this box and choose the button you want to assume full Phone responsibility. Whichever one you didn't choose you can remap as described below.
  • Space Toggles SpeakerPhone in Call*: Pressing space turns on/off the speakerphone during a call (just like Space used to on the Treo 600!)
  • Make Menu Shift : Restore the right shift key to the way it was on the 650.
LudusP also lets you remap the following buttons to do whatever you'd like like:
  • Send
  • Power/End*
  • Phone
  • Calendar
  • Mail
  • Home

Actions:

  • Launch ANY Application or Preference Panel
  • :Home Launches default launcher
  • :Menu Opens the menu
  • :CmdBar Opens the command bar, otherwise inaccessible on the Treo
  • :Power/End* simulates turning your Treo on/off (including press-and-hold to turn on and off your wireless carrier!)
  • :URL* opens a website in Blazer
