SharkLinks

Yet Another Free Utility From Your Friends At LudusTech

Go to web sites from your launcher!

DOWNLOAD SHARKLINKS v1.2

Operation is VERY simple: you go into SL, tap New, enter the link's name and URL, and tap Save. Repeat until satisfied. Now go back to your launcher. The links appear as if they were applications. If I may suggest a good first link: http://www.ludustech.com/portal/ has a nice collection of mobile sites assembled at 1src.

Features (and how to use them):
-Links are ALL SELF-CONTAINED. What does this mean?, you ask. It means that you can create links in SharkLinks and then delete the app and the links will still work just fine! Also, you can beam the links to a friend's Palm that doesn't have SharkLinks installed and they'll work fine!
-By default, all links have the creator id 'shLK'. This means they all appear clumped together in the Beam and Delete menus. To delete an individual link, use FileZ or SharkLinks. If you want a link to be launchable from the Buttons prefs panel, tap Unique App when creating the link and ENTER A FOUR LETTER STRING (i suggest sh followed by two numbers. like sh10 or sh28). The string you enter MUST BE UNIQUE. This will make the OS treat the link as it's own application, and you can launch it from McPhling or Buttons or even SharkBtn ;-)
-If you have multiple browsers installed, go into Menu->Default Browser and you can change which one the links will open in. NOTE: Opera Mini does NOT support the Default Browser feature. It's a Java app and it just doesn't do the Palm OS thing.
